Detritus, Big and dumb, but all power and brute force.
Named after Ankh Morpork's "favourite" ex-bouncer and current member of the Watch.
Well, this is one of my most recent completed projects. It's basically a dedicated games machine running Windows XP. All the components were carefully selected for maximum performance and it REALLY does scream along.
Unfortunately Linux still isn't ready for widespread commercial gaming use, even with projects like WineX. It's still easier to install on windows and accpet the limitations of the operating system. I'm looking forward to the time that I can wave goodbye to Windows though ;o).
